eCertificate from Civil Records

This service allows you to submit a request for a birth, marriage or death certificate via the eGovernment Portal, with the option of choosing an electronic or paper form of the document.

The electronic certificate is delivered free of charge to the eMailbox on the eGovernment Portal and has the evidentiary value of the original, in accordance with the law. It is certified by the electronic signature of the registrar and contains a QR code that allows verification of authenticity. It can be used in electronic business operations and communication with public administration institutions, while its printed copy represents an official copy thereof.

The certificate in paper form is sent by registered mail to the address specified in the request. Depending on the purpose of issuance, it may be subject to a fee. Payment can be made electronically when submitting the request or through all available payment channels.

The request is processed within 8 days and for a certificate in paper form, delivery time must be taken into account.

eProof of Citizenship

The eProof service on the eGovernment Portal allows you to submit a request for a proof of citizenship in electronic or paper form. The electronic proof is delivered free of charge to the eMailbox on the eGovernment Portal and has the evidentiary value of the original, while the proof in paper form is sent by registered mail to the address specified in the request.

To use the service, it is necessary to register on the eGovernment Portal via the ConsentID mobile application or with a Qualified Electronic Certificate. The administrative fee depends on the purpose of issuance and payment can be made electronically when submitting the request, as well as through all other payment methods.

The request is processed within 8 days and for proofs in paper form, the delivery time must be taken into account. The proof can be issued for the applicant's child, while for the issuance on behalf of another person, appropriate proof of guardianship or power of attorney must be attached.

eProof of Citizenship

eCertificate of No Criminal Conviction (Ministry of the Interior)

The eCertificate service on the eGovernment Portal allows you to submit a request for a Certificate of (No) Criminal Conviction in electronic form. The request is submitted via the eGovernment Portal and the certificate can be collected from the police department at your place of residence or it can be delivered to your home address.

To use the service, you must register on the eGovernment Portal via the ConsentID mobile application or with a Qualified Electronic Certificate. If a fee is required for issuing the certificate, payment can be made electronically or through all other payment methods.

The request is processed within 8 days and information about the processed request is delivered via SMS or e-mail.

eCertificate of No Criminal Conviction

eCertificate of No Ongoing Criminal Proceedings (Ministry of Justice – issued by the COURT)

The eCertificate service on the eGovernment Portal allows you to submit a request for a Certificate of No Ongoing Criminal Proceedings. The request is submitted electronically and the certificate is delivered to the eMailbox on the eGovernment Portal or it can be collected at the competent court.

To use the service, you must register on the eGovernment Portal via the ConsentID mobile application or with a Qualified Electronic Certificate. Upon submitting the request, an order for payment of the fee is generated, which can be paid electronically or via all other payment methods.

The time limit for issuing of the certificate is up to 8 days from the date of payment and the user is notified of the status of the request via SMS or e-mail. If the option to collect a printed certificate is selected, the document will be available at the competent court within 7 days from the date of issuance.
