The “My Place” application serves to inform you about news, current affairs and communal utility problems that are happening in certain local self-governments on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

The “My Place” application informs you about current events and other developments and gives you the opportunity to participate in initiating decision-making that will help in the development of local self-governments. Through this application, you can participate in surveys and you also have the possibility to report problems.

The Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment (hereinafter referred to as: the Office) published the application in the name / on behalf of certain local self-governments and provides technical support for its efficient functioning. Certain local self-governments are controllers of personal data, while the Office collects and processes personal data as a processor.

By signing up for the application, you agree that your available data, regarding which the operator could ask for additional information and clarifications, can be further used, but solely for the purpose of reporting issues with the city or municipal offices that are responsible for solving those issues.

Network data transmission, i.e. sending graphic, video and textual content may incur costs in accordance with the business policy of your mobile operator.

When using the “My Place” mobile application, it may happen that you entrust us with your personal data (personally-identifiable information) for processing or storage purposes. Any collection, processing and storage of your data will be done in accordance with the applicable regulations of the Republic of Serbia, i.e. the Law on Personal Data Protection (“Official Gazette of the RS”, No. 87/18).

In order to provide you with services and ensure the safe use of the “My Place” application, we collect basic types of data: first name, last name, e-mail address and mobile phone number.

While using the “My Place” application, we may collect and process data about the devices from which you access the application. This data may include the operating system and its version, unique device identifiers, and data about the Internet network from which you access the “My Place” application.

While using the “My Place” application, we may collect and process data about your location, through technologies such as your mobile phone's IP address or GPS sensor.
The identification of the user of the “My Place” application in the sense of a user account is required to ensure smooth registration and additional communication with operators of local self-governments, but solely for the purpose of reporting issues with the city or municipal offices that are responsible for solving those issues.

“My Place” application collects and processes personal data exclusively in accordance with the applicable regulations of the Republic of Serbia and for the purpose of providing information society services, protecting its own legitimate (business) interests, improving its services and user experience, protecting the interests of its users, preserving the safety of users, and preserving the public interest and public safety.

“My Place” application may share your personal data with third parties in the following cases:
• When forwarding your complaint to the offices responsible for solving the reported issue,
• Upon correctly formulated and explained written request of the competent state authority, for the purpose of implementing a specific procedure.

At any time, you have the right to change your data that is incorrect, as well as to withdraw the consent you previously gave to the processing of your data. You also have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time. Restrictions on this right exist in cases where the alteration or deletion of your data may lead to the prevention of investigation, detection or prosecution of criminal offenses, as well as to the prevention of realization of claims in civil disputes.

At any time, you have the right to access information about the purposes of data collection and processing in the “My Place” application.

In the event of a breach of your data that may pose a risk to you, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. Restrictions on this right exist in cases where the alteration or deletion of your data may lead to the prevention of investigation, detection or prosecution of criminal offenses, as well as to the prevention of realization of claims in civil disputes.

Personal data recorded in this application are stored for two (2) years.

In accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, as well as the regulations governing information security, all measures have been taken to protect data from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

Every person has the right to be informed about the processing of data that relates to them, as well as about which processing operations are performed and, accordingly, to exercise all rights in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Personal Data Protection.

In accordance with Article 82 of the Law, you have the right to file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection if you believe that the processing of personal data has been carried out contrary to the provisions of the Law.
