The first step in the implementation of the knowledge dissemination program “Serbia Digitalizes”

This is the first step in the implementation of the program “Serbia Digitalizes”, by which the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment is moving towards the dissemination of knowledge and solutions in the field of digitalization of public administration.

By launching the program “Serbia Digitalizes” and signing of the first Cooperation Agreement with the Republic of North Macedonia, the Government of the Republic of Serbia raises the concept and the idea of ​​digitalization, which Prime Minister Ana Brnabić set as one of the Government priorities, to a higher level. Namely, in a short period of only two years, the results achieved by the Serbian Government in the field of digitalization were recognized in the countries of the region as an effective tool for establishing a modern public administration and its transformation into an efficient service for citizens and businesses. Therefore, the conditions for spreading the knowledge from Serbia to the countries of the region and beyond have been acquired.

The Agreement will significantly contribute to the enhancement of the digital transformation of the two countries, as well as to the further development of existing friendly and neighbourly relations, the desire to strengthen and improve the already good bilateral cooperation established within the framework of cooperation on the digitalization of the Western Balkans, especially in the field of information and communication technologies and their application in the development of eGovernment.
