The project was launched on the proposal of the Ministerial Council for Innovative Entrepreneurship and Information Technologies, chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić. The first round of prequalification for the IT sector was launched in 2017, where 100 candidates were trained. In 2018, the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment organized the second round of prequalification, where 700 candidates were selected by the expert committee, out of 12,300 applications received. Training was provided in 9 schools and institutions, encompassing 18 different courses, with minimum training hours amounting to 250. The third round of prequalification, implemented by the National Employment Service, and to which 10,476 candidates applied, is currently underway.
