The Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment has established the first State Data Centre, which by technical and security standards is one of the most advanced in the region and houses the key information and communication infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia.

The State Data Centre houses the equipment of state authorities and provides the Government Cloud service. The Centre meets the Tier 3+ standard, and the services of the Centre are provided in accordance with the security standard ISO 27001, ISO 9001 quality standard, as well as the quality of service provision standard, ISO 20000. As of recently, the State Data Centre accommodates the equipment of the Ministry of State Administration and Local Self-Government with 30 million data from registers of birth, death, and marriage, and by the end of the year, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior, the Register of Citizens of the Republic of Serbia will as well find its place there.
